We want to live in a world where end of life planning is a rite of passage, and a celebration of life and adulthood. Here you will find all of the forms that you may need, all in one place. This process is personal, and will look different for everyone. What matters most is that you feel confident and finish what you’ve started. Make sure you print a copy for your records and one for your family, lawyer, and/or executor!
If you aren’t familiar with this process, take a moment to read about each of the four documents listed in the sidebar. To see specific legal requirements by state, check out this page on Legal Zoom. Our job is to get this party started! We created the Best Worst Party Plan and will link to external sites for you to complete the rest. The internet provides many paid and unpaid resources to produce your Advance Directive, Power of Attorney, and Last Will and Testament. We tried them all and found these two to be the quickest, most user-friendly, and it doesn’t hurt that they’re free.
A quick note– Best Worst Party is not in the business of giving legal advice. While you can choose to plan your estate online with us, there are some cases when it might be beneficial to work with an attorney in this process. For instance, if you have assets greater than $5 million, if you have a child with a disability, or if you want to establish a trust, you should consult an estate planning professional. Consider filling out the documents below to help get your ideas in order before you meet with an expert.
